Jennifer Wegter-McNelly
Interim Pastor

Jennifer Wegter-McNelly has been Interim Pastor at Church of the Covenant since October, 2007. She is delighted to walk with such a vibrant, committed congregation during their transition time. Baptized a Presbyterian, confirmed in the United Church of Christ, and later ordained a Presbyterian, she is also delighted by the dual identity of Covenant’s two denominational affiliations. Jennifer attended Princeton Theological Seminary and then pastored for eight years in San Francisco Presbytery before moving to Boston in 2004. This is her fourth position as an intentional interim minister. She loves preaching and worship, meeting people and hearing their stories, and helping congregations grow spiritually and organizationally during times of change. She lives in Brookline with her spouse Kirk, a professor at Boston University’s School of Theology, and their son, Keller.
